In this update Brett sits down with a truly gifted singer, Caitlyn Offerman. Caitlyn has one of those voices that Brett describes as a “James Bond car”, meaning that her voice has so many “gadgets” that can overwhelm the singer if they don’t have control.

This update features the talented Billy Duvall Jr. He's is in the studio with Dave Brooks to exchange ideas and experiment with different melodies. Dave admits that every time he sits in on one of Billy’s lessons, he learns so much himself. They sing through a song, and reinterpret it to make the song more unique. Dave also works with Billy to help him sing with power and finesse, while being in complete control.

The whole purpose of this update is to understand the importance of collaboration and musical experimentation. Dave and Billy are two of the most gifted musical talents to ever cross paths, and we got it all on camera.

This lesson is about becoming unique, as an artist. Brett really shows how to put your personality into songs, so that your audience can feel what you’re singing about.

Dave is in the studio with upcoming country artist, Kalei Hogan. He’s been working with Kalei over the past few months, and now she’s getting ready to go in the studio to record her demo.

In this update Dave shows Kalei the importance of starting a song off right. Dave teaches that it’s almost impossible to catch up with the song if you start off wrong. They work on a fast and a slow song to show the importance of starting right on each. Dave also teaches Kalei about vowels, and how to stay in your mix when you sing them.

WHERE’S MY VIBRATO?

Jesse Nemitz is back in the studio with the legendary Eddie Gilbert. You might have seen Eddie’s amazing before and after video on the Singing Success website, but click HERE if you haven't.

In this lesson Jesse checks up on Eddie’s voice. They warm up and work on some pitch exercises that help train the ear and the voice to be able to delineate pitches smoothly. Jesse also takes Eddie through some exercises to help find and control his vibrato. Once again, Eddie proves to be one of the most open to instruction voices we’ve seen to date; the breakthroughs in this lesson alone are amazing!
